The Green Gaurdsmen was a character that first appeared on the animated show "Justice League" Episode titled "Legends" in 2002 This ring was constructed out of a metal ring from Home Depot, with the shield being made from a drawer slide. I had a spare drawer slide, so I flattened out the metal and cut out the shield shape. because the ring I got from Home depot was too big, I wrapped string around it, and using JB Weld, I covered the string with metal glue, aswell as gluing the shield in place.
